Charlotte Marriott City Center

Central location for downtown Charlotte. Everything is just a short walk. Clean property; friendly, helpful staff. We left our coats in the room closet and they mailed them to us at home.

Good location.

Rooms are way too small. Soundproofing against the noise in the corridor and the adjoining rooms is insufficient. It's very loud.

Consider asking for a room on a higher floor to minimize street noise and enjoy better views.

Paying for parking and parking, not very good

The location relative to Bank of America Stadium and other uptown locations was great. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean.

Parking is not included in the room rate of hotel (this is clearly marked in information, and not uncommon in the uptown Charlotte hotels) it just made the room more expensive than we would have preferred.

I had a nice experience staying here, especially with the comfy bed and the modern decor in my room. The lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a busy day, and the fitness center had everything I needed for a quick workout. The only small downside was having to pay for Wi-Fi, which felt a bit outdated, but overall, it was a solid stay! 😊

Convenient to everything. Accommadations were very nice. Staff was superb. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and we enjoyed Champions both nights.

Checking in was difficult due to heavy traffic in the front of the building. We had a hard time trying to park, check in and then drive down to the parking deck. Also, we would prefer a full size coffee pot and a small fridge.

We enjoy visiting Charlotte, especially downtown. We took our friends to Merts for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and food. Great place!

I tried to use my Marriott number for points. I am not sure if the desk staff gave us credit. Could you check please? Why do you charge for wi-fi?

The fitness center was lovely, but the valet service was quite expensive.

Before leaving I called front desk and asked to please call me a TAXI. The lady said, that it wouldn't be neccessairy, because there are allways taxis in front of the door. Coming down, I found all of our luggage in a limousine, which costed of course more than a regular taxi. Such tricks are shabby!

Excellent location, was here at Christmas and they had everything decorated beautifully and it was right next to the cities main decorations. Also extremely comfy beds

I thoroughly enjoyed really friendly and absolutely friendly employees!

The restaurant was good for breakfast, I tried excellent dishes. Also, location was excellent, within a close distance from The Bank of America Stadium.

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, short walk to the stadium for the game and many bars and restaurants and the city centre. The room we had was brand-new and standard sized with the fridge and tablet, as example.

It was just a fitting option for a weekend break in Charlotte with very good value for money. The breakfast in the concierge lounge had lots of choices and fresh food, a nice bonus. Just be prepared for the cold wooden floors in the rooms.
